Does this sound like a good idea? If I don't get into college?

Well, I'm going to be a junior in high school, I'm in a crappy school cause I couldn't get anywhere half way decent. I made some bad decisions in the past but I really wanna turn it around. I applied to a decent high school, and they agreed to take me but I have to repeat sopre year cause to get myself ready for college cause junior year there is 15 subjects and take summer cl cause my test results say that my reading skills, math apprehension (I think thats what its called) and science and most of the subjects skills are at a grade 6 level. So I thought it was a good deal for my education, but my dad said no. So I'm at a lame-*** school, and I have a C+ average, and I know I'm not ready for college. My mom told me, if I don't get into college, I should be a photographer or a chef. I have a talent for photography and cooking but without a college degree it could be tough. Does anyone have any other alternatives? I live in Philippines by the way.
