WHY dose people use cartoons instead of a real pic of them self?

I dont understand unless your under the age of 18, why not use a real pic of your self? Its creepy not knowin the face ur chattin with, At least that way you know if there older or younger or werid. Beside as long as you dont give out personal info, there's no harm in it. SO A: ur scared, B: ur shy C: dont like the way you look Either way those are dumb reasons! Ok i know i probably up set some one, lets hear it!
