How do I deal with seeing someone die?

So, I work in an emergency room and last night i witnessed a death of a guy around my age. I literally saw him die right in front of my eyes, heard his last words ("I can't breathe") and saw him take his last breath. I am having a hard time dealing with it and had a mini anxiety attack as i pulled up to the hospital tonight to work. Now you have to understand my title is a patient sitter. Why does my stupid dog eat her own crap?

Dance: Help with turnout and fifth position?!?

I am a very serious thirteen year old dancer. I attend cles up to five days a week, and dance for about 3 and a half hours per day. Just recently, I have been noticing that more frequently my teachers have been talking to me about my hip placement and getting frusterated at that. They tell me that I will not be able to do anything if my hip placement is not changed. My teachers say that I have a tendancy to turn in my workin hip on the barre and that is why I am not balancing in the center, but I AM balancing in the center. What would you do if you were me?

My husband hasn't spoken to me or looked at me for 3 weeks now. He got mad because I tried to wake him up to eat a pork chop I made for dinner. The only reason I woke him up is because he told me to. Now he moved his things into another room and sleeps in there. He has always been very moody and verbally abusive to me. I found that because he made me nervous, he knew I was nervous after that each time I got on him, which made him act differently. I have a little courtyard - and a million flies - how do I get rid of them!!?

How should I deal with this tangled situation?

I have a group of friends i've been hanging around with for most of my high school years, right now i'll be heading into my senior year. To start off bluntly, they treat me like trash. I'm constantly made fun of and called names, regardless of me asking them to stop. I'm a sensitive kid, I take a lot of stuff personally that other people don't, but I think being relentlessly put down will make any kid lose their self esteem. Now, i've done a lot for these guys. I was the support system for one of them when his girlfriend and him were having problems, I went to great lengths to keep them together and quell their arguments. I also got this friend a job when his other one's business failed, I was the first one to refer him to my boss. He was hired the next day, I got him back on his feet. Another friend i've covered him on his shift at work at least 15-20 times when he's had things to take care of. He always tell me, "I owe you big time." I've also been his shoulder to cry one and talk to when he's had relationship problems. My third friend, I drove him around from place to place for year and half before he got his license, free of charge on gas. The last friend, I made the world hop basically for him. I let him live with me for a year and a half, I gave him food to eat, water to drink, and a bed to sleep on. He has major financial problems, he was abused by his mom and his dad has the most horrible credit ever and can't hold a house for more than a year. When he was homeless I took him in and gave him $300.00 when his dad found a house to rent for food and such to get them started. Now, a few years later i'm planning on studying quantum mechanics and theology for a career. So I do a lot of readying on that subject. I've also got a girlfriend I like to spend a lot of time with, the situation came to a climax last week when I found out they lied to me and used me to work their shift for them so they could go out on the boat. I wanted to go with them, but they told me they wern't allowed to go now and asked if I could work for them. I said sure, I don't mind, I found out they went out on the boat. I was kind of upset, so I confronted them and asked them why they lied and used me. I was laughed at, it sorta pissed me off. After school one of them pulled me aside and said the reason why was because "i've become full of myself" and "I always talk about stuff no one cares about." I was surprised, I asked for examples and they couldn't give me any. Maybe this is a personality flaw of mine that I hadn't noticed, and I kind of see that some of the philosophy crap I bring up in conversation can zap the fun out of it. It took them a year to tell me this though, while they used me to drive them around, give them money with no hope of being paid back, and I gave one of them a place to live and quite a bit of money, while always being tormented and laughed at when in a group. Constantly being made fun of has also made me quiet, i'm afraid to speak for fear of whatever I said being turned against me in a joke. They want me to be less uptight and more funny, more like I used to be in years past with them. I did grow older now, i'm 18 and i'm starting to look towards life. I'm less immature now, I have responsibilities to tend to. I can see my personality flaw though, they could be right that i'm like that. I feel like they're setting expectations for me to live by instead of me setting expectations for myself. They want me to be a certain way and won't accept me for who I am. Who really wants to hang around with a kid who's full of himself though? I will work on that. I've also become co-dependent too, without them I'm back to square one with no friends. I'm looking for advice on how to handle this, I feel like to I need to put a mask on and act differently now. Sort of change my personality to fit their needs so I can keep them as friends. Any answers would be deeply appreciated, i'm very confused.

Why did they make Dragonball GT?!?!?!?

Ok guys I have a couple of questions I cant seem to figure out, first of all I just watched Dragonball GT a second time (the whole series) and I was correct the first time, it is aweful. So I am a mom to be, I plan on continuing my education of course. I want to be a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and from there on continue on if I want to depending where I am in life. I have tried to look for every college around my area that offers a nursing program at night but none do except ITT tech, well im not exactly sure about FAU, though I think it doesnt. Anyways, I think this would be a great idea because I get to work and study. Im 19 years old at the moment, I work at a doctors office as a receptionist/ secretary (nothing big or fancy) but at the moment it is great experience and it helps me get by. I am thankful that I have a supportive daddy to be by my side, but I am very independent, I want to be able to provide for my family as well and have a career that I enjoy. My biggest concern is going to ITT tech or another college of the sort and pay alot more money than I would at a community college and that the education and repytation they have isnt even good. Ok instead of doing a mash which is pretty obvious. Par-boil the sweet potato. Then grate it. Season add a bit of flour. (and if you can get hold of an egg or some milk!) That will help it bind. Make patties and grill them till they are crispy. Use this as the base. Caramalise the onion and when there is a bit of juice in the pan add the pork. turning it every now and again until cooked. Place this on top of patties with some onion on top and around the plate. Serve with beans (although you have not put what beans you are using?)

I'd say do a smokey eye, but not too much. Put a brown eyeshadow on, and make it smoky. Apply eyeliner, but not too much. And use a smudge brush to smudge it all together. Do farmers usually bond with animals that they will end up killing?

I have had livestock as pets, and livestock for livelihood. Generally, when you have 300 head of cattle, once you finish taking care of their basic needs you don't have time to sit back and cuddle, so no, you do not bond with them. This doesn't mean that farmers are mean or lack compion, they are just doing their jobs. Most farmers I know raise animals for slaughter and breeding but also have pets. They bond with their pets and have a "professional" distance from their livestock. I doubt that the lady you are referring to will slaughter the turkey without a thought, but there will come a time when that turkey will just get too old, and depending on it's breed may even just get too heavy for it's own legs and when that time comes, the humane thing to do would be to butcher it. It's not evil, it's just the way it goes.

1994 Jaguar Vanden Plas 4.0?

I thought fuel pump. then 1 day it started but no a/c. Now it won't start again. I moved some relays around when debating whether or not to take out the fuel pump. It did not start then, but a week later. My wife drove it for a few days with and the a/c won't cool, it was fine before. I pulled a vacuum on the system and it held over night. I have tried to put in 134a but the system won't take it. I have rebuilt many a/c's on cars I don't think this could be that different. Now the car won't start again. It just turns over. If it wasn't for this being my wifes favorite car I would get rid of it. I think it has gremlins.

He fell down like a rock and started screaming, yelling, and shrilling because I hit him right in the hardest part of my shoe. And he was rolling around and sweating and looked like he was gonna vomit. After that I apologized for my uncle's rude behavior to her and she said it was no problem and then the woman walked up to my uncle who was on the ground, taunted him for hitting on her before, and kicked him three times with the tip of her shoe in the groin. After that I dragged him up back to the apartment. Do u think this was the exact proper course of action to take?

I believe it. I was actually expecting it. For weeks before the election I was feeling a very negative atmosphere. ok well if you play a 3-D game it uses memory on the video card. to refresh it you restart it and it wont lag as bad. another problem might be your video card might not be very good. but to make it faster (which is what you wanna know lol) is free up some hard drive space. look up "disk cleanup" in the start menu and do it. once its done checking, go to the second tab and click the bottom "clean". it will delete all the system restore points exept the latest one. it cleaned 18 GBs once and 16 another time. it helps alot. and if your anti-viruses keep picking up anti-virus, i heard that you dont want to "delete" them, but instead put them to "the chest" as its called. it locks it from acsesing system files. and if you uninstall some games, do a disk defragment. and i heard that theres a big virus going around tonight. thats what i heard on the news so i hope this helps and yeah, thepiratebay had alot of viruses, and beware of that illegal downloads. they get you nowhere execpt trouble. but this is "yahoo lectures" now is it? have fun with your gamin =P

Credibility of hair densitometry/densitometer (for genetic male hair loss)?

I went to see a hair restoration doc one time who used a densitometer to measure the density of my hairs and ured me that I exhibited very early signs of hair thinning and some loss. He put me on propecia but the question is...the derm/trichologist/physians that I have seen have never heard of densitometry, one derm knew but he told me that it is only an art and is not to be completely trusted. He ured me that we all lose hair density as we grow older and just because we lose some hair density and some miniaturization but it does not mean we should take propecia especially since he thought my hair density was normal and I had a full head of thick hair still. He felt I should take it when I exhibit observable loss. It seems these derms don't really buy into the art of hair densitometry. Have you ever heard of this densitometer/densitometry? Would you trust it or should I just follow the derm's advice. I'm 26 and I still have a full head of hair just a little thin on the sides

its so young and probably terrified, leave him in his cage for a long time. dont try to put a leash on it. hes was too young. rabbits really hate being carried. dont carry him around. to get him to trust you, let him run around the room and just sit on the floor... dont grab at him... dont even reach out to pet him if he comes close to you.. just let him sniff and then when you think hes comforable pet him... take it slow.

Driving from the Carolinas to New York City, would taking the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel save time?

I haven't tried the bridge/tunnel at all, but I agree the traffic in DC is horrendous, so it may well be worth your time if the bridge/tunnel isn't out of your way to get to. A note about Philly though, since you're going for NYC, you might consider getting off 95 just before Wilmington onto 295, cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge, an take the NJ Turnpike around Philly. It'll most likely be quicker than taking 95 or 295, especially if rush hour. And the Turnpike blends into 95 north of Philly, so you'll end up on the same track heading into NYC. Only note of caution is all the long distance truckers do the same thing.

So, I'm getting a MacBook pro to replace an old hp desktop. I was wondering if it's better to get a 13 inch and keep my nice display for home use or get a 15 inch. Why is it that?

People make harsh generaliztions about certain breeds of dogs wether they are mixed with a certain breed or if it's purebred? I'm a firm believer that a dog's actions are a result of their environment and up-bringing. The breeds most commonly bashed are pittbulls, Cane Corso, Persa Canario, Rottweillers, there's many more but I heard more sweet stories and have experienced very sweet encounters with these breeds. Well I have layers but only one and it's annoying when they stick out so I see how you hate them. Use some flat iron spray. I use FX special effects flat iron spray for my hair and it works really well. Try angling your flat iron for the top layers towards you head but not too much so that it curves instead of staying straight.

Getting into med-school?

Hi, I will be a high school junior this upcoming school year. And I am trying to figure out what career I wanted to be involved in. After thinking about it, I thought I would give medicine a chance, since I loved my Biology cl, and I like to help people. I have been a 4.0 student (barely, a lot of A-'s), I try to take all the honor and/or ap cles I can, I made into National Honors Society ( I think pure luck =] ), and I volunteer in an inter-faith dialogs. Now my question is what can I do right now that will help my chances to getting in med school. Some of my friends went to California ( Berkley) for a Medicine camp, I got the invitation also, but my family could not afford it. (This brings up the issue if cost will get in my way. Will it?) Am I really behind because of not being able to go to the camp? And would volunteering at my hospital also help me? Any advices? I wanted to go to University of Iowa's Carver College of Medicine, which is a pretty good med school. Thanks!

My dog has a soft lump on the side of her face about an inch under her right eye.?

I have a five month old English Mastiff female not spayed. She has a g sized lump on the side of her face that is soft and moves around when touched. It doesn't seem to cause her any pain or anything when I touch it, but it bugs me. We are taking her into the vet for it but just want to see what some possibilities are before we are able to get her in. Not sure if this is connected but she also has been having really watery eyes, and they goop up sometimes especially at night when she sleeps.
