How can i get myself to study?

i do know i have to achieve something n get a job asap but no matter what i cannot get to study.i always feel bored n just cannot do it.i really have to study.my dad found out about my bf and was mighty mad.now to get back his confidence i really need to study n get some where in life. i am no kid being 20 of age but still i just cannot study.my bf is bad so i broke up with him on friday but we will get back together again like we always do.i just love him a lot but i am not happy with him.i know my imbalanced state of mind is a hindrance in my studies but i have to live with it now and can do nothing to change it since its always been like that.please help me to focus n study.
