Need a students loan!!?

i just had a child and want to do a program to become a pharm. tech. its only 2300 book fees included n all but i dont have that right now. where do i start? i dont want to end up payin tons of interest! also i may sound naive but interest payments only???? deffered payments????please spell this out for me
